The Montagne Noire aerodrome is a restricted-use approved aerodrome, located in the commune of Revel, Haute-Garonne, 10 km north of Castelnaudary (department of Aude, France) and 60 km east of Toulouse.
It is used for the practice of activities gliders.
The former national center of gliding of the Montagne Noire located at this aerodrome was registered historical monument by decree of January 8, 2009, with the classification of the runways, the two hangars Mistral, the former canteen Center and the Workshop Jacques Aubriot.

The particular situation of the aerodrome, on the side of the Montagne Noire, allows the glider to be used all year round, thanks, in particular, to the steepness of the slope.
