Aircraft known for its climbing performances (theoretically 7200 m maximum), five copies of the Potez 25 were ordered by Pierre Georges Latécoère to make the Argentina-Chile link above the Andes. It was used by the company from 1929 to 1933. To move the mountains, the pilot used the updrafts, the descent could be made in successive loops to save time! On June 13, 1930, Guillaumet suffered a spectacular accident at a crossing Mendoza - Santiago in bad weather. After a forced landing, he survived an incredible march of five days and four nights in the mountains. Try crossing the Andes between Mendoza (SAME), Argentina, and Santiago de Chile (SCEL), on the trail of the pilots of Aeropostale.
